QUESTION: Can we “Ahli-Shia” participate with closed hands and without
putting on the earth and stone in “Ahli-sunnet” public
praying?
ANSWER: It is not allowed to pray with closed hands.
Moreover, there are some Islamic schools (beside Shia) which believe in praying with open hands.
As for using stone by praying, it is not necessary to do that,
so one can use for this sake the normal ground ( such as the marble in the holy mosque)
or to use plant things which are uneatable such as mat (which is produced from plants).
QUESTION: Where is originate to pray with opening hands or closing hand and washing foots?
ANSWER: This is a matter of jurisprudence experts. Regarding the wiping of feet, the Quran says:
"Wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles." [Quran: 5/6]
QUESTION: “Ahli-Shia” know that to pray with opened hands is “necessary sunnet”
in Islam, because our prophet pray with opening hands. But we know that our Ahli-sunnat brothers
say that we have Hadithe from Rasulallah (S) about praying with closed hand? Are they correct?
If they correct (Hadithe) what we must do those Hadithe?
ANSWER: Every one should practice the Islamic laws of the religious authority he follows.
We mean with a religious authority the person who has all necessary conditions to be a
religious authority such as Ijtihad, experience, practice and fear of Allah.
QUESTION: Is “Ahli-sunnet’s” scientists let to pray behind person
who belong to “Ahli-Shia” faith?
