Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq is reported to have said:
“He who would like to know whether his (ritual) prayer has been accepted or not, should consider whether this prayer has or has not kept him away from indecency and evil, because as much as the prayer keeps away from so, it will be accepted.”
The Imam has of course concluded this saying from the following Quranic verse:
“Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer. Surely, prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil. And certainly, the remembrance of Allah is the greatest; and Allah knows what you do. (29/45)”

O People! The month of Allah (Ramadhan) has approached you with His mercy and blessings. This is the month that is the best of all months in the estimation of Allah. Its days are the best among the days; its nights are the best among the nights. Its hours are the best among the hours.
This is a month in which he has invited you. You have been, in this month, selected as the recipients of the honors of Allah, the Merciful. In this holy month, when you breathe, it has the Sawab/thawab (heavenly reward) of 'Tasbeeh' (the praise of Alla

 

 

Īmam Jafar as Sadiq a.s said that the Fasts of Shaban are at such an extend of advantage that even if a person is condemned to death because of Haram act, he shall be benefiting from the Fasts of Shaban.
